The Strength of Togetherness!

As people, we love saying the "I" word. I accomplished this. I completed that. I lead a group of operators. I manage a team. Let's not lose sight of meaningful, valid, and important individual accomplishments. But, have you ever realized how much of a force you could be with the right people by your side, supporting one another instead of being deceitful and competitive? You can't run a business without your employees and customers who support you. You can't manage a team successfully without the effort and contributions of those individuals. I couldn't run my online business without you, my customers. In business and our personal lives, we should embrace help, support, and encourage, employees, and individuals inspired by our strengths.

More Brains are Better than One

Are you strong enough to say, "I don't know everything," or "I need help sometimes"? We don't always have the correct answers. We don't always know what to do. Sometimes if we allow ourselves to come down from that pedestal, help is standing right before us. Not all situations involve multiple people, but in cases where they do, don't be afraid to ask for help or seek togetherness. #Morebrainsarebetterthanone

Social and Political Change

To seek change, movements have arisen throughout the country where people from all races stood together to defend the Black Lives Matter ("BLM") movement, women's rights, gun violence, anti-racism, and lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer ("LGBTQ") individuals, to name a few. The power of togetherness has been amplified in the last few years to create change. No single person could have led such monumental movements alone. #aforcewhenwetogether

By embracing and welcoming others, you get the opportunity to continue learning. We learn about different cultures, opinions, approaches, and techniques. We may be different, but our differences make us unique and a force when we are together!

How Can I Encourage Togetherness?

• Support one another

• Be that big brother or sister that the people need

• Stop the hate, and help that person who wants to be like you; there's room for all of us!

• Understand that you alone CAN'T do it

• Hire someone

• Help your wife/husband because a happy house = a happy spouse

Togetherness

It's so vital that we continue to fight and encourage togetherness. Don't get me wrong, there are things we can do alone, but we as people are so influential together.
